Fairytale Tea Recap
The 7th Annual Fairytale Tea was a day to be remembered! Our 30 table hostesses went above and beyond the call of duty and the table decor was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you just does not seem enough for their efforts. The nearly 350 guests had fun participating in the Best Hat contest and table that best matched their theme. The Tea chairs Colleen Katz and Karen Phelps kept everyone informed and the event running perfectly!
The awards for the day went to:
Susan Hall – Hostess with the Mostest for bringing 40 guests to the event.
Susan Hall – Crowd Pleaser for most votes for her Three Little Pigs Table
Ashley Preston – Best dressed table for all of her table guests dressing as Mary Poppins.
Traci Cook – Best Hat from the Mad Hatter table.
Semone Rochlin – Most creative use of materials for Hansel and Gretel.
Ruthie Cohen – Best use of theme for the Wild Swans table.
Paulina Fife – Judge’s Choice for the Secret Garden Table.
A special thanks to Karen Phelps’ Toy Story table for bringing in the most donations.
Together the Fairytale Tea guests raised just over $40,000 to use towards HEAL’s mission of supporting Arizona mothers through cancer recovery. This was the most ever raised at this event and we are truly grateful! A special thank you goes out to Terri Oulette of Sonoran Living for emceeing the event and to our special guest speakers Kayli and Sam Daniels.
Hats off to a job well done to all table hostesses and guests. They really made a difference to the moms we serve and we look forward to seeing everyone back at HEAL’s 8th Annual Fairytale Tea!
