Cancer is never welcome at any age and if you have children to care for there are additional challenges to deal with and that is where HEAL can help.

Receive Assistance

A one time grant is issued to moms in Arizona who are recovering from cancer surgery or treatment. The recipient must be living with at least one dependent child. There are not any financial requirements to qualify for a grant for services from HEAL because the organization believes that any mom battling this disease deserves extra support.

A cancer diagnosis can financially devastate some families. The extra deductibles, co-pays, tests and medications are very costly and many moms that HEAL helps are either uninsured or underinsured. The greatest need of each mom is determined by the recipient and a HEAL staff member.

A one time grant can be used for the following:

• Rent
• Grocery Money
• Utility Bills
• Medical Costs
• Travel Expenses
