HEAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides outreach and support to mothers in active cancer treatment, whether single or married and with any type of cancer. The recipient must live in Arizona with at least one dependent child.
HEAL distributes gift cards based on incoming donations and fundraising efforts to help offset the monthly expenses incurred as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
Lauren Daniels founded HEAL in 2004 โ and a community has been growing ever since.
When Lauren faced breast cancer at 35, her children ranged from 1 to 11. She and her husband Sean were deeply grateful for the help they received during that trying time.
Lauren turned adversity into purpose โ and one mom's experience became a community that still walks alongside Arizona families today.
