HEAL's Story

Our "why" is to serve mothers on their cancer journey.

The Happily Ever After League (HEAL) was founded in 2004 by Lauren Daniels when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35.

HEAL is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides outreach and support to mothers in active cancer treatment, whether single or married and with any type of cancer. The recipient must live in Arizona with at least one dependent child. HEAL distributes gift cards based on incoming donations and fund raising efforts to help offset the cost of monthly expenses incurred as a result of a cancer diagnosis.

HEAL offers additional support to newly diagnosed moms with back to school outreach, holiday gift programs and farmer’s market days at the Healing Farm. The goal of never turning a mom away continues to be a challenge as we strive to provide support during the time of the most immediate need. Our donors are the heartbeat of the organization and we rely on their generosity to continue the work we do for mothers recovering from cancer.
